Rene I. Luna
Dr. René I. Luna is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with extensive medical training and experience. He is certified in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery (M.I.G.S.), making him an expert in the field. Dr. Luna is passionate about providing exceptional healthcare services to women in the Rio Grande Valley community. He values the doctor-patient relationship and effectively communicates with his patients to understand their unique medical needs.
Dr. Luna completed his medical training at the New York Medical College and the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. He then went on to complete his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women’s Health at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, N.Y. Dr. Luna began his career at Plaza OB/GYN Associates in Houston, Texas, but in August 2015, he relocated to McAllen, Texas, where he now provides exceptional healthcare services to women in the Rio Grande Valley community.
Dr. René I. Luna is a compassionate and caring physician who is supportive of his patients’ present and future health concerns. He is dedicated to providing the highest level of medical care to his patients and is an asset to the Rio Grande Valley community.
Madison Marshall
Madison Marshall is a board-certified Physician Assistant dedicated to serving her community. She studied at the Stephen F. Austin State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a minor in Biology and Psychology. She developed a passion for medical education while conducting science research during her undergraduate career.
Madison pursued her Masters degree in Physician Assistant studies at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Throughout her medical training, Madison strived to acquire a diverse understanding of healthcare and patient populations, so she underwent extended clinical training in Emergency Medicine to provide comprehensive care for patients spanning all age groups and backgrounds.
Madison was drawn to OB/GYN as it is one of the most comprehensive specialties that medicine has to offer and allows her the ability to connect and care for women across the lifespan. From first-time mothers to post-menopause, there is no greater joy than being entrusted to care for a woman’s health.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Madison enjoys running, dancing, and spending time with her golden retriever. Madison feels very honored and proud to provide healthcare for women within the Rio Grande Valley.
